Obituary of Betty Lou Stevens

Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, on June 25, 2026, Betty Lou Stevens of Bay Roberts, age 82 years.

Predeceased by parents: George and Marion Spooner; son: Paul; parents-in-law: Charles and Florence Stevens.

Leaving to mourn, husband: Melvin; daughter: Lori (Curtis Butt); grandson: Brandon Galway; brothers: Bill Spooner (Norma) and Gary Spooner (Wendy); sisters: Allison Newell (Bill - deceased), Diane Hillier (Norm - deceased), and Glenys (Paul) Anthony; sister-in-law: Lorna (Ray) Boone; brothers-in-law: Eric (Linda – deceased) and Lyndon (Bev) Mercer; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation at Moores Funeral Home, Bay Roberts on Thursday, July 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday, July 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Bay Roberts.

Interment in St. Matthew's Anglican Cemetery.
