Obituary of Robert Turner
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, June 27, 2026, Robert Turner of Lower Island Cove, age 80 years.
Predeceased by parents: Raymond and Lillian; brother: Frederick; parents-in-law: Edward and Alice Morris.
Leaving to mourn, loving and devoted wife of 54 years Margaret; daughter: Wendy (Michael); son: Dwayne (Tanya); grandsons: Jackson and Rylan; sister: Joan; sister-in-law: Geri; brother-in-law: Richard (Helen); also, a large number of other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
Bob was a long-time employee of Air Canada working in both Montrel and St. John’s. He loved travelling through Canada and beyond. He cherished his vintage cars and loved taking them for a spin with his friends. He also enjoyed tending his garden and sitting in his garage chatting with old friends.
We the family would like at this time to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of 4NA (Hematology), Health Science Centre and also doctors and staff of St. Clare’s ICU, your care and kindness are forever appreciated
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, July 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 2, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Main Highway, Western Bay.
Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
