Obituary of Raymond Edward Delaney

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Dr. A.A Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Friday, July 3, 2026, Raymond Edward Delaney of Gull Island, age 81 years.

Predeceased by wife: Irene; two infant daughters; parents: Joseph and Patricia; brothers: Jack (Genny) and Andrew; sisters: Gen (Cyril) Delaney and Edna (Andy) Doyle.

Leaving to mourn, daughter: Tracy Delaney; sons: Joey (Karen) and Tommy; grandchildren: Avery, Michael, Rebecca, Tatum, and Autumn; brothers: Tom-Mike and Gerald (Lorraine); sister-in-law: Janice Delaney; also a large number of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Raymond's family would like to extend their appreciation to all staff of Baccalieu Retirement Living, Dr. A.A Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, and Tricon Pharmacy, Old Perlican for their constant care and compassion. Also, a special thank you to Christine, Heather, and Madsion for making their dads day a little brighter.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, July 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Main Highway, Western Bay.

Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery.
