Obituary of Ed Butt

Passed suddenly away at his residence on Sunday, July 12, 2026, Edward Butt of Harbour Grace, age 79 years.

Predeceased by wife: Helen; parents: Michael and Dorothy; brothers: Walter, Ron (Betty), and John; sisters: Mary (Jim) Cashin and Vivian (Joe) Sullivan; parents-in-law: James and Margaret Cooper.

Leaving to mourn, daughter: Lisa Butt (Doug Johnson), Sherwood Park, AB; son: Damien (Melissa) Butt, Sherwood Park, AB; grandchildren: Douglas (Celine) Coombs, Michael Coombs, Seamus Crane, Leah (Douglas) Sevenson, Jaxon Butt, Karla Hatch (Chris Doucet), and Kelsey Hatch (Matt Swift); great-grandchildren: Liam, Riley, Sophia, Hayden, Arielle, and Akyler; sisters: Helen (Danny-deceased) Dionne, Frances (Leo-deceased) Wrice, and Jean (Ray-deceased) Reynolds;  also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, July 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Funeral service with Mass to take place on Thursday, July 16 at 2:00 pm. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace.

 Intermnent in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
