Obituary of Pauline Elizabeth Oliver
Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving children, family, and caregivers at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on July 25, 2026, Pauline Elizabeth Oliver of Gull Island, age 76 years.
Predeceased by husband, Neddie; parents: Vincent and Alice Colbert; brothers: Pius, Raymond, and Tom; sisters: Kay, Jennie, Mary, Eileen, and Theresa.
Leaving behind with a lifetime of cherished memories are her children, Melissa (Damien), Rodney (Dawn), and Geoffrey (Elaine); her grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life, Kelsey (Matt), Karla (Chris), Shania (Shawn), Morgan, Kirkland, Kyle (Rebecca), and Jaxon; her treasured great-grandchildren, Arielle, Hayden, and Akyler; and sister, Debbie. She also leaves with loving memories her special nieces, whom she loved and raised as her own, Rhonda (Ray), Brenda (Paul), and Karen (Gary); sisters-in-law: Elizabeth, Maryanne, and Mary; along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family extends their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to her home-care workers and the staff of Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness shown to Pauline throughout the past years. They would also like to recognize and thank two special friends, Cindy Clarke and Debbie Phillips, for their daily visits. Your kindness means more than we could ever express.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, July 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Wednesday July 29, 2026 at 2:00 pm from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay.
Interment at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Pauline Oliver Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home.
