Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on August 25 2026, Olive Holloway of Harbour Grace, age 77 years.

Predecesased by her parents: James and Pearl Parsons; brothers: Oscar (Kathleen) Parsons and Charles (Vicki) Parsons; sisters: Amelia (Bud) Weimer, Joyce (Will) Neil, Dorothy (Leo) Keough, Viola (Chesley) Cumby, Irene (Rendell) Stone; brothers-in-law: Leo Purcell, Gordon Stone and Bert Brickman; ex-husband: Francis Holloway.

Leaving to mourn her son: Gordon Holloway; sisters: Hazel Purcell, Ethel Stone and Greta Brickman; special friend: Goldie Purcell; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation to take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, August 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Interment to take place at St. Joseph’s R.C. Cemetery on Saturday, August 30 at 10 :30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 444, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0 or SPCA Baccalieu Trail, P.O Box 273, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B7
