SLADE, Mildred H. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 13, 2003, Mildred H. Slade of Salmon Cove, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband Albert J., 1958; sons Nathan, 1955 and Chesley, 1957; brother: John; sisters: Gertie, Cicely and Asceneth. Leaving to mourn two sons: Fredrick (Annie) and Hartley (Cathy), both of Salmon Cove; five grandchildren: Johanna, Anna Marie (Kevin), Kelly, Rendell and Erin; two great grandchildren: Mackenzie and Brady; one brother: Herbert (Meta) Slade, Salmon Cove; one sister: Lillian Parsons, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Tuesday, July 15. Funeral service to follow on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Riverside United Cemetery Fund.
