CLARKE, Allan R. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 30, 2003, Allan R. Clarke of Victoria, age 85 years. Predeceased by sons: Reginald, Edward and William; brothers: Ches, Ernest and Edward; sister: Dorothy. Leaving to mourn: wife: Molly; six daughters: Mona (Dennis) Cole, Claudette (Bernard) Smith, Donna (Dave) Downing, Annie (Elihu) Snook and Greta (Sergio) Silvaggi, all of Victoria and Goldie (Danny) Mercer, Toronto, ON; two daughters-in-law: Michelle Clarke, Shearstown and Susan Clarke, Harbour Grace; twenty grandchildren: Tracey, Sheana, Allan, Travis, Robert, Michael, Ross, Adrianna, Scott, Lori, Claudette, Lisa, Pauline, Dana, Dale, Tony, Barbara, Brenda, Art and Tina; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one sister: Marjorie Gosse, Spaniard's Bay; three sisters-in-law: Freda Clarke, Victoria, Marie Clarke, Glace Bay, NS and Annie (Claude) Young, Clarke's Beach; special friend: Elsie Clarke, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 3. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria.
