DELANEY, Mark - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, Mark Delaney of Northern Bay, age 85 years. Predeceased by wife: Agatha; daughter: Dorothy; grandchildren: Jacqueline, Jonathan and Mary; parents: Patrick and Theresa; sister: Mary; brother: Patrick. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Julia (Jethro) Milley, Toronto, Theresa (Cyril) Kehoe, Red Head Cove and Marion (Bruce) Squires, Old Perlican; seven sons: Stan (Ann), Alberta, Edmund, Toronto, Martin (Sue), Toronto, Larry, St. John's, Joseph (Kim), St. John's, Pat (Sandra), Marystown and Terry (Maria), Toronto; fifteen grandchildren: Colleen, Shawn, Chad, Terrance, Nicholas, Jodie, Matthew, Paul, Larry, Shawn, Jennifer, Stephanie, Ryan, Dylan and Hailey; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers: Dominic (Ann) Delaney, Northern Bay and Michael Delaney, Gander; two sisters: Dorothy (Bill) Ellis, Minneapolis, USA and Elizabeth (Frank) Power, Caplin Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican.
