Rippberger (Swain), H. Michelle - Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer with her loving family at her side at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, H. Michelle (Swain) Rippberger of Calgary; formerly of Salmon Cove, age 36 years. Predeceased by father: Gerald; grandparents: Samuel and Beatrice Slade; Richard and Minnie Swain; aunts and uncles: Hilda (Berkley) Swain, Shirley Tricket, Robert and Margaret Swain; Gladys Parsons. Leaving to mourn, husband: Brad and son: Brent, Calgary; mother: Mary Swain, Salmon Cove; brother: Michael Swain, Saskatchewan; sister: Sheila Swain, Salmon Cove; parents-in-law: Mark and Phyllis Rippberger, B.C.; brother-in-law: Michael Rippberger, B.C.; special friend: Norma Derosa, Calgary; niece and nephews: Gerri-Ann, Jeremy and Mark; aunts and uncles: Evelyn Snelgrove (Bill), Laura Swain, Sophie (George) Earle and Art Parsons (Sharon), all of Carbonear; Herb Tricket, Broad Cove, Audrey (John) Dooley, St. John's, Arch (Babs) Slade and Will (Chris) Slade, both of Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. No flowers by request.
