ROSE, Clarence R. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, January 8, 2011, Clarence R. Rose of Western Bay, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Phoebe; grandchildren: Sarah and Zachary; brothers: Herb, James, Jack, Fred, Hughie and Tom; sister: Lillian Penney. Leaving to mourn, wife: Ruby; two daughters: Cavell (Charles) Brun, Pointe Dixon, NB and Jeannie (Billy) Isaac, Burtonsville, Maryland; one son: Vincent (Pamela), Perry's Cove; four grandchildren: Barbara-Jean (Murray) Anderson, Megan Isaac (Billy) Murphy, Amanda Isaac and Kayla Rose (Kevin Sooley); three great-grandchildren: Thomas, Charlize, and Lilianna Anderson; two brothers: Aubrey (Eileen) and Vincent (Genevieve), both of Victoria; two sisters: Mildred Kelloway, Pentecostal Senior's Home, Clarke's Beach and Nattie (Steve) Nolan, St. Mary's; sisters-in-law: Helen Rose, Victoria, Elizabeth Rose, Gander, Eileen Lannahan, Paradise and Annie Rose, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours on Sunday, January 9 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday, January 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Lower Island Cove.
