ROSE, Leila L. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, January 9, 2011, Leila L. Rose of Carbonear, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Oscar; parents: William and Nellie Churchill; brother: Ted. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Doreen (Frank) Jamieson, BC; two grandchildren: Quinn (John) and Kelly; one great-grandson: Graham; two sisters: Beatrice 'Bea' Ash, Harbour Grace and Marcella Swain, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Minie Rose, Salmon Cove, Sophie Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear, Lillian Rose, Salmon Cove, Aseaneth Rose, Salmon Cove and Joyce Churchill, Agnes Pratt Home, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours on Monday, January 10 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear.
