FLIGHT, Mary Emma - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, February 14, 2011, Mary Emma Flight of Small Point, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Edison; parents: Samuel and Esther Hollett; brother: Raymond Hollett; sister: Ida Flight; sons-in-law: David Paul and Hedley Burt. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Eleanor Burt, Broad Cove; one son: Jim (Alma), Victoria; four grandchildren: Jimmy (Tracy), Bonnie (Lawrence), Ron (Goldie) and Sharon (Cory); six great-grandchildren: Lacey (Jody), Mitchel, Olivia, Alannah, Alissa and Connor; two great-great-grandchildren: David and Jami; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove.
