WISEMAN, Betty (nee Power) - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, Betty Wiseman (nee Power) of Harbour Grace; formerly of South Wales, UK, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Edgar; daughter: Gloria; son-in-law: Ernest F. Allen Jr.; brothers: Frederick John and Albert; sisters: Molly, Margaret, Winnie and Joan. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Diane Allen, Wareham, Massachusetts, USA; one son: Robert (Alison), London, ON; son-in-law: Douglas Smith, St. John's; nine grandchildren: Jonathan (Debbie), Jason, Matthew, Darryl, Christine (Ryan), Stephanie, Heather (Kevin), Carlene and James; five great-grandchildren: Ryan, Kyle, Nathan, Daniel and Nora; sisters-in-law: Helen Noseworthy and Olive Andrews, both of St. John's and Eleanor (James) Currenn, Ontario; brother-in-law: Robert Cole, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, March 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Forest Rd., St. John's. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Betty's memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
