May 11, 1958 – April 17, 2016 Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, April 17, 2016, Lorraine Howell of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 57 years. Predeceased by father: Brendan Carpenter; brother: Gregory Carpenter; father-in-law: Calvin Howell; brothers-in-law: Martin Gillard and Douglas Tulk. Leaving to mourn, husband: Carl; three sons: Jason (Glenda) and Gregory (Kathy), both of Carbonear and Bradley (Renee), Keswick, ON; seven grandchildren: Haley, Brandon, Jessica, Erica, Clarissa, Madison and Mason; mother: Mary Carpenter, Carbonear; four brothers: Frank (Patsy), Scott (Lorna) and Bern (Sarah), all of Carbonear and Gerard (Juanita), Salmon Cove; six sisters: Brenda (William) Igbinedion, Anne (Robert) Chubbs, Betty (Lee) Clarke and Linda (Robert) Griffin, all of Carbonear, Mary (John) Parsons, Freshwater, Carbonear and Bride (Carl) Monster, Holyrood; mother-in-law: Joan Howell, Freshwater, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Beverley (Norman) Yetman, Bryant’s Cove, Bonnie (Irving) Rumbolt, Cull’s Harbour and Sandra Tulk (Jim Kelly), York Harbour; also a large number of other relatives and friends. DUE TO STORMY WEATHER ON WEDNESDAY, THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE RELATIVES AND FRIENDS AT NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, CARBONEAR ON THURSDAY, 2:00 TO 5:00 p.m., 7:00 TO 9:00 p.m., FRIDAY, 9:00 TO 10:00 a.m. FUNERAL MASS IS RE-SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 22 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear.
