Obituary of John R. 'Jack' Carnell

February 13, 1936 - October 13, 2016 Passed peacefully away at Carbonear Long-Term Care Facility on Thursday, October 13, 2016, John R. 'Jack' Carnell of Ochre Pit Cove, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: Stephen and Gertrude, sisters: Lorraine (Carson) Crocker, Rita (Jim) Crowley, Edith (Harold) Coish, and Marion (Joseph) Peach. Leaving to mourn, one brother: Gerald Edward (Helen) Carnell, Ochre Pit Cove; two sisters: Mildred (John) Baggs, Boston, Massachusetts and Florence (Gordon) Learning, St. John’s; nieces and nephews: Melvin and Tony Peach, Darlene (Roger) Pike, Kim Carnell, Geraldine (Craig) Green, Tracey Carnell, and Janice Carnell (Johnny Baker); great-nieces and great-nephews: Dalton (Kesha and their daughter, Hayden), Jessica, Terri-Lynn (Adrian and their daughter Maggie May), Andrew, Shane (Leanne), Steven (Terri-Lynn), Mitchell, Lucas, Julia, Helena, and Brady; also a number of other great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
