Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor, Placentia on Monday, October 31, 2016, David Reid of Lower Island Cove, age 88 years. Predeceased by wife: Rosemary; parents: William and Susie; brothers: Gilbert (Amelia) and Robert. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Nancy (Darrell) Smith, Ajax, ON; one son: Garry (Christine), Lower Island Cove; four special grandchildren: Kayla, Matthew, Jimmy, and Andrew; one sister: Florence (Clarence) Buckler, Northern Bay; sister-in-law: Naomi Reid, Paradise; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Wednesday, 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
