Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, Stanley Penney of Adam’s Cove, age 68 years. Predeceased by wife: Judy; parents: Samuel and Angela; brothers: Ed, Leonard, and Tom; sister-in-law: Joan. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Scott (Bonnie) and Ken (Tiffany), both of Adam’s Cove; four grandchildren: Dominique (Nick), Leah, Peyton, and Emily; six brothers: Val (Marg), Frank, Pat (Brenda), all of Victoria, Mark (Annie), Carbonear, Bob, and Jason (Maggie), both of Victoria; six sisters: Rosalind (Jim), New Brunswick, Georgina, Carbonear, Ellie (Bob), Victoria, Elsie (Wade), Linda, both of Carbonear, and Ardena, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Hilda, Victoria and Shirley, Carbonear; special friend: Audrey Curnew, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear, on Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House, P.O.
