We have so many wonderful memories of Ell - paddling in the lake in Huntsville, going for a row, ordering our bread at Parker's Bakery to ensure we got some the next day, tending to her flowers with such tenderness and care, wonderful "eats" especially at snack time (she always had the best cookies for little girls!), her love of needlework. Ell was so kind and caring of the young and old. Due to her and Ralph's caring, our Aunt Bertha lived very well untill her passing.
We are so glad she was home until her passing. We know that was important to her.
She and Mom (Olive) were as close as sisters and were often asked if they were. Ell was Donna and Marlene's second mother (and Ralph our second father) and we could not have asked for better.
Ralph, we know how much you and all your family and friends will miss her as we will too. Hoping these memories help to bring a smile when the time is right.
