Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, Mary M. Maddigan of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by her mother, Agnes Maddigan; aunt: Gertrude Iversen; cousin: Sonja Hosel; many aunts and uncles. Leaving to mourn, two cousins: Gertrude Reiss and Lorraine (Roy) Janes, both of Carbonear; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, December 31 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail S.P.C.A.; P.O. Box 273, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B7.
