Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, Shirley M. Williams of Harbour Grace, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Clara Penney; son: George. Leaving to mourn, husband: Gordon; two daughters: Cynthia Williams and Diane (Vincent) Meunier, both of Harbour Grace; four sons: Gordon, David (Marcella), and Karl (Sandy), all of Harbour Grace, and Rick (Lori), Brampton, ON; fifteen grandchildren: Frank, Rhonda, Chantelle, Kimberly, Gordon, Paul, Jamie, Chad, Brittany, Taylor, Nelson, Leeland, Alicia, Sheldon, and Tara; fourteen great-grandchildren: Frankie, Shannon, Katie, Lily, Luke, Chase, Colby, Caden, Cory, Samantha, Jordan, Mackenzie, Logan, and Drake; two brothers: James (Marjorie) Penney, Carbonear and Shelby (Diane) Penney, Paradise; one sister: Emmie Penney Evely, Victoria; brothers-in-law: Clayton (Joan) Williams, Leonard Williams, and Kevin (Rae) Williams, all of Harbour Grace; sister-in-law: Glenda Williams, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
