Obituary of William G. Hunt

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, April 29, 2017, William G. Hunt of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by wife: Edith; son: Michael; parents: Paul and Susie; Raymond and Annie Devoe; brothers and sister. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Janet (Walter) Neil, Harbour Grace and Gale (Maurice) Chafe, Bristol’s Hope; three grandchildren: Sandy (Lynn), Sheri (Darrel), and Rebecca; five great-grandchildren: Joshua, Dakota, Savanna, Denver, and Soleil; four brothers and three sisters; also a large number of other relatives and friends. At William’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, May 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Inurnment to be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
