Obituary of Silas Slade

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility, on Saturday, May 13, 2017, Silas Slade of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Arthur and Annie; brothers: George, Ernie, Elijah, and Sidney; infant brother: Rayfield; sisters: Mazie and Doris; infant sister: Mabel. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Laura; two sons: Steven and Glenn; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Clifford (Mary); also a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Inurnment to take place on Tuesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the old Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
