Passed peacefully away at the Veteran's Pavilion, St. John's,  on Friday, July 28, 2017, Lillian E. Babb of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Predeceased by: husband: William; grandson: Aiden; great-grandson: Blake; parents: Harry and Clarice Soper; brothers: Bill, Harry, Charles, Donald, Ken, and Lloyd. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Barbara Peddle (Len Phair), St. John’s; five sons: William 'Bill' (Karen), Hr. Grace, Robert (Colleen), Mt. Pearl, Howard (Kim), Ottawa, ON, Stephen (Michelle), Ottawa, ON, and David (Clancey), Grand Bank; six grandchildren: Jonathan (Krista), Kimberly (Nelson), Gregory, Daniel (Karen), Douglas and Ellen; five great-grandchildren: William, James, Norah, Emma, and Jesse; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Hr.
