Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Monday, August 21, 2017, Annie L. Byrne of Riverhead, Hr. Grace, age 74 years. Predeceased by husband: William; parents: James and Elizabeth Clarke; brother: Melvin; sister: Marion White. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Sheila (Dennis) Lambe, Bay Roberts; two sons: Jim (Lyda), Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Tony (Lilly), Blaketown; three grandchildren: James, Sarah, and Patrick; three brothers: Albert Clarke (Marguerite), Carbonear, James (Cynthia) Clarke, and Norm (Leona) Clarke, both of Victoria; sister-in-law: Pearl Clarke, Ontario; also a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
