Obituary of Helen Rose

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, December 18, 2017, Helen Rose of Victoria, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Fred; son-in-law; Elwood Snow; parents: Alfred and Monica James; four brothers: James, George, Edward, and John; two sisters: Mary Dunphy and Patricia Penney. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Daphne Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear and Sue (Bruce) Parsons, Victoria; one son: Dorn, Victoria; two grandchildren: Grant (Lynette) and Shelly (George); three great-grandchildren: Owen, Gavin, and Troy; two brothers: Frank (Heather, deceased) James and Leo James, both of Ontario; one sister: Veronica (Doug) Pike, Spaniard’s Bay; sister-in-law: Joan James, Carbonear; special friend: Bridget O'Keefe, Freshwater, Carbonear; members of the Rose Family; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, December 21 at 10:30 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria.
