Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Dorothy Wicks of Burnt Point, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Hayward; parents: Charles and Clarenda Blundon. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Judy (Bruce) Soper, Carbonear; son: Gary (Margaret), Burnt Point; two grandchildren: Amanda and Joel (Stacey); great-grandson: Jake; two sisters: Sarah (Ellis - deceased) Oliver and Ada Beryl (John - deceased) Robbins; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, October 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
