Obituary of Thelma Snelgrove

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, January 21, 2024, Thelma Snelgrove of Lower Island Cove, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: Wesley and Hazel Moores; brothers: Boyd (Marilyn) and Allan. Leaving to mourn, her husband: Robert; two daughters: Beverly (Ross) Leshane, Lower Island Cove, and Lori Robbins, Ontario; two sisters: Daphne (Cyril - deceased) Murphy and Inez (Albert - deceased) Milley; grandchildren: Victoria LeShane, Erica LeShane, and Lucy Robbins; sister-in-law: Mary; nieces, nephews, extended family and a circle of friends. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend with a large heart and will hold many fond memories for all those she has touched. Special thanks going out to the members of the North Shore Ambulance team, Carbonear General Hospital ER department and staff, the Health Sciences ICU department and caring staff. Your kindness and professionalism were outstanding. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, January 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment at the United Church Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
