WHEELER, Harry - Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, Harry Wheeler of Victoria, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Edward and Elizabeth; daughter: Brenda; brothers: Frank, Edward, Baxter and Ernest; sister: Catherine. Leaving to mourn, wife: Velma; three sons: Terry (Bonnie), Calgary, AB, Harry Jr., Marystown and Wade (Ruth), Paradise; seven grandchildren: Kimberley, Katie, Jessica, Sarah, Nicole, Justin and Jason; one great-granddaughter: Chloe; one brother: Wilfred (Vera) Wheeler, Port aux Basques; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 3 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Building Fund.
