SELLARS, Lily - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, Lily Sellars of Western Bay, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Ralph, 2007; parents: Lewis and Margaret Flight; son-in-law: Donald Oliver; brothers: Baxter, George and Richard. Leaving to mourn, five daughters, Marie Oliver, Pearl (Boyd) Whalen, Phyllis (Dexter) Whalen and Norma (Gary) Slade, all of Western Bay and Vera Sellars, Brampton, ON; four sons, Melvin (Marie), Goulds, Kevin (Judy), Brampton, ON, Bryce (Loretta), Bradford, ON and Wayne (Barbara), Western Bay; seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister: Pearl White, Trenton, ON; sister-in-law: Sophie Flight, Paradise; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 5 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in McDowell United Cemetery, Western Bay North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
