PYNN, James 'Jim'- Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2009, James 'Jim' Pynn of Carbonear, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Ada Pynn; sisters: Rose Pitts and Shirley Dunne; parents-in-law: Lloyd and Patience Garland. Leaving to mourn wife: Rosalind; daughter: Wanda (Walter) Slade, Salmon Cove; four sons: Lloyd, Florida, USA, Jimmy (Charmaine), Carbonear, William 'BJ' (Renee), Fort McMurray, AB, Kenneth (Cathy), Carbonear; seven grandchildren: Barry, Kelsey, Adam, Hannah, David, Rebecca, Emily; seven sisters: Beatrice (Gordon) Bears, Florida, USA, Lucy Jewer, Spaniard's Bay, Lillian Osmond, Ottawa, ON, Ann (Chesley) Peddle, Ada (David) Peddle, both of Bristol's Hope, Sandra (Allan) Hatcher and Ruby (Victor) King, both of Carbonear; many nieces and nephews and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Daffodil Place.
