PAIN, Edith- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, Edith Pain of Carbonear, age 89 years. Predeceased by parents: Edwin (Ned) and Lavinia Clarke; first husband: Robert Vivian and second husband: Russell Pain; son: Malcolm; brothers: Nathaniel, Mark, Jack, Elijah and Malcolm; sisters: Dinah, Betty, Louise and Alice; son-in-law: Ralph Weston and daughter-in-law: Sandra Vivian. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Diana Weston, Carbonear; two sons: Robert Vivian, Victoria, BC and Eldred (Etta) Vivian, Calgary, AB; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family on Saturday, December 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Edith's memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear.
