TAYLOR, Effie- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, Effie Taylor of Bristol's Hope, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: William H.; parents: Archibald and Agnes Peddle; brothers: Albert, George and Harry; sisters: Lillian, Catherine, Mary, Olive and Helen. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Pauline (Calvin) Penney, Bristol's Hope and Shirley Taylor-Rind, Toronto, ON; one grandson: Juergen Rind; great-granddaughter: Katarina Rind, granddaughter-in-law: Lisa Rind and son-in-law: Karl Rind, all of Ontario; three sisters: Edith Butt, Carbonear, Asseniath Rose, Salmon Cove and Thelma Gillard, Ontario; three sisters-in-law: Evelyn Taylor and Ida (Gordon) Skinner and Berdina Peddle; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in Effie's memory may be made to Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
