PILGRIM, Allan Davis - Passed away at Conception Bay South on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, Allan Davis Pilgrim of Conception Bay South, age 84 years. Predeceased by Dolores' mom: Margaret; brothers: George, Chesley and Gordon; sisters: Pearl Hillier, Violet Hillier, Olive Badcock, Lucy Penney and Ruby Roberts. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Dolores (Tom) Lawrence, Conception Bay South; two grandchildren: Lindsay (Daniel) and Mitchell; great-grandson: James; two sisters: Rita Hillier and Lavinia (Henry) Humby, both of St. Lunaire-Griquet; sisters-in-law: Annie Pilgrim, St. Anthony and Marshall Pilgrim, St. Lunaire-Griquet; brother-in-law: Samuel Penney, Carbonear; special friends at Cannings Seniors Home, Conception Bay South; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, March 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Allan's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
