SAUNDERS, Reginald- Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's on Sunday, March 21, 2010, Reginald Saunders of Carbonear, age 84 years. Predeceased by son-in-law: James Laing; members of William P. Saunders family and Shenstone Parsons family; Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 60 years Elaine; daughter: Elizabeth Laing, St. John's; son: William (Ann), Ontario; two grandchildren: Peter (Lisa) Laing and Joanne Saunders ; and family members of William P. Saunders and Shenstone Parsons; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation on Wednesday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
