VERGE, Margaret - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, April 23, 2010, Margaret Verge (nee Shannahan) of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Ronald, 1972, son: Ronald, 1947 and sister: Elizabeth. 2006. Lovingly remembered by her children: Raymond (Bride), Harbour Grace, Jean (Vladdy) Filipovich, Montreal, Quebec, Ruby (Doug) Bridgen, St. Phillips and Kevin (Mary), Harbour Grace; nine grandchildren: Juanita (Bob), Raymond (Barbara Ann), Proja (Gio), Eugene, Keith (Allison), Randy (Darlene), Robert (Debbie), Darrell (Amanda) and Janice (Jim); eight great-grandchildren: Latoya, Stephen, Nathan, Taylor, Eric, Jeremy, Joshua and Mahala; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Family Worship Centre, Bannerman Lake Road, Harbour Grace or to St. Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund.
