BUTT, Margaret S.- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Thursday, May 13, 2010, Margaret S. Butt of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband: Gordon; parents: George and Susannah Evely; brothers: Chesley, Clifford, Damon, William, Warrick and Gilbert; sister: Leah Clarke; sister-in-law: Rosalie Evely. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Trudy (Terry) Penney, Roddickton; two sisters: Vera Moores, Mount Pearl and Elizabeth Wilson, North Carolina; sister-in-law: Bessie Evely (Clyde), Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours on Saturday, May 15 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday, May 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Monday, May 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Carbonear. Interment in Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
