LOVEYS, Nellie L.- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, Nellie L. Loveys of Western Bay, age 99 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Edna; sister: Gertie Penney; brother: Ormsby. Leaving to mourn, niece:
Violet Gillingham, Ochre Pit Cove; a number of cousins; special friends: Dexter (Phyllis) Whalen, Wayne (Violet) Whalen and Terry (Kim) Whalen, all of Western Bay and lifelong friend: Mae King, Charwood Manor, Carbonear; also other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday, May 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, May 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
