COLLINS, Gerard- Passed peacefully away at his residence on Saturday, July 10, 2010, Gerard Collins of Harbour Grace age 53 years. Predeceased by parents: Bernard and Eleanor. Leaving to mourn: two brothers: Aiden (Paulette), Carbonear, and Paul (Debbie), Harbour Grace; four sisters: Bernice (Donald) Dawe, Catherine (Dennis) King, and Deirdre (Wade) Hynes, all of Halifax, N.S. and Paulette (Bill) Pilgrim, Goose Bay; nieces: Cindy, Tiffany, Krista, Alyson, Jennifer, Sarah and Mary; nephews: Christopher, Bernie, Ian, Neal and Liam; caregivers: Paulette and Maxine; very special friends: Clifford Kennedy and Shirley Barnes; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace after 2:00 p.m. Monday. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, July 14 at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Gerard's memory may be made to the Gerard Collins Memorial Fund or to VOWR Radio. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
