LEGROW, Beatrice M. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Friday, July 30, 2010, Beatrice M. LeGrow (nee Hill) of Carbonear; formerly of Wesleyville and St. John's, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: Wallace; infant daughter: Audrey Jean; brother: Thomas; sisters: Pearl, Audrey and Zena. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Ruth (George) Colbourne and Karen (Ray) Butt, both of Carbonear; four grandchildren: Rod, Rick, Lee and Amy; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Cody; one brother: Peter (Mary) Hill, Lewisporte; one sister: Stella Barbour, St. John's; sisters-in-law: Joyce Hill, St. John's and Mildred LeGrow, Ontario; brother-in-law: Jack Kean, North Sydney, NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, July 30 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, July 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Then resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, St. John's on Sunday, August 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, August 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James United Church, St. John's. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John's. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. James United Church, St. John's.
