BYRNE, William J. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, August 15, 2010, William J. Byrne of Riverhead, Hr. Grace, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Mary Alice; brother: Ron; sisters: Helen, Bridget and Christine. Leaving to mourn, wife: Annie; one daughter: Sheila (Dennis Lambe), Bay Roberts; two sons: James (Lyda), Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Anthony, Blaketown; three grandchildren: James, Sarah and Patrick; two brothers: Tom, Carbonear and John, Thicket, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; one sister: Anne (Edward) Mercer, Thicket, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, August 18 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the William J. Byrne Memorial Fund.
