Obituary of Roy G. Rose

ROSE, Roy G. - Passed peacefully away, in the presence of his loving family, at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, Roy G. Rose of Salmon Cove, age 58 years. Predeceased by parents: Archibald and Sadie; parents-in-law: Cecil and Winnifred King. Leaving to mourn, wife: Louise; two sons: Jeffrey (Krista), Ottawa, ON and Steven (Kathy), Brigus; four grandchildren: Mackenzie, Abigail, Noah and Jack; one brother: Desmond (Mildred), Kamloops, BC; brothers-in-law: Herman (Jessie) King, Cecil (Sylvia) King and Gilbert (Dianne) King, all of Victoria and Don (Florence) King, Mount Pearl; sisters-in-law: Cynthia King and Melvina King, both of Victoria, Vera (Derrick) Penney, Salmon Cove and Ruby (Wallace) Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear; special aunt: Minie Rose, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Riverside United Church.
