FRENCH, James H. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, James H. French of Harbour Grace, age 71 years. Predeceased by sons: Eric and Thomas; parents: Thomas and Fanny. Leaving to mourn wife: Doris; two daughters: Beverly King, Victoria, BC and Debbie (Gilbert) Russell, Bay Roberts; one son: Rodney (Wanda), Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Emmie French, Toronto, ON; eleven grandchildren: Jason, Tina, Kelly, Kerry, Krystal, Kayla, Michael, Andrew, Brian, Ivan and James; one great-grandson: Joshua; one brother: Gordon (Evelyn), Harbour Grace; one brother-in-law: Bernard Chipman, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Friday, May 9. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the James H. French Memorial Fund. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
