Obituary of Susie Sellars

SELLARS, Susie E. - Passed suddenly away at her daughter's residence, Adam's Cove on Thursday, June 5, 2003, Susie E. Sellars of Western Bay, age 73 years. Predeceased by husband: Theodore 1995; parents: Augustus and Laura J. Clarke; brothers: Augustus, Austin, Amos, Lionel and Sandy; sisters: Annie, Lillian and Myrtle. Leaving to mourn: six daughters: Linda (Wallace) Clarke and Bonnie (Edward) Johnson, both of Western Bay, Judy (Stanley) Penney, Adam's Cove, Cynthia (Boyde) Slade, Alberta, Bernice (David) Milley, Blackhead and Sheila (Simon) Richards, Mount Pearl; five sons: Melvin (Barbara), Blackhead, Rodney (Deborah), Western Bay, Walter (Josie), Alberta, David (Sophie), Carbonear and Selby (Pennie), Western Bay; eighteen grandchildren: Danny (Kelly), Steven, Scott (Bonnie), Kenny, Teddy, Amanda, Cassandra, April (Shawn), Corrina, Jimmy Lee, Melissa, Walter, Tiffany, Simon, Cody, Timmy, Judy (Patrick) and Jeffrey (Sherry); eight great grandchildren: Dilon, Shanon, Dominique, Leah, Josh, Nikita, Ceanna and Kayley. five brothers: Pleaman (Violet), Nathaniel (Bertha Mae), and Stanley, all of Victoria, Donald (Gladys) and Bert (Olga), both of St. John's; two sister: Gladys (Tom) Deering, Carbonear and Muriel (Donald) Jackson, Victoria; special nieces of the late Theodore Sellars: Rowena Pynn and Daphne Garland; and also a large number of brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay until 12:00 noon Sunday, June 8. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church and Cemetery, Western Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted, or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to McDowell United Church, Western Bay or Alzheimer Society.
