Obituary of Francis Ryan

RYAN, Francis G. 'Frank' - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, July 15, 2003, Francis G. 'Frank' Ryan of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 93 years. Retired CN Employee. Predeceased by wife: Catherine, brothers: Michael and Jack, sister: Ellen. Leaving to mourn: two sons: Gerald (Phyllis) and Kevin (Shirley), both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; four daughters: Loretta (Harold) Sullivan, Rosemary (Timothy) Fahey and Mary (James) Durnford, all of Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Sheila (Eugene) Hachey, Hay River, NWT; thirteen grandchildren: Gerry, Denise, Deanne, Stephen, Debbie, Tracy, Rodney, Wayne, Bruce, Keith, Timmy, Mason and Lucas; four great-grandchildren: Ryan, Mark, Kristen and Kaitlyn; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Friday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Immaculate Conception R.C. Project Restoration Fund, Hr. Grace or a charity of one's choice.
