HAIRE, William J. 'Bill' - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 7, 2003, William J. 'Bill' Haire of Harbour Grace, age 86 years. Predeceased by parents: Maurice and Alice; brothers: Jack, Jerry, Dan, Maurice and Mike; sisters: Madaline and Mary. Leaving to mourn wife: Mary; four daughters: Betty (Pat) Pembroke, Port Saunders, Alice (Jim) Parmiter, Harbour Grace, Florence Haire Sutton, Edmonton, AB and Marion (Bob) Penney, Bowmanville, ON; four sons: Pat 'Paddy' (Jean), Fort McMurray, AB, Gregory (Debbie), Harbour Grace South, William (JoAnne), Ajax, ON and Stephen (Michelle), Riverhead, Harbour Grace; twenty grandchildren: Michael (Lisa), Petrina (David), Christopher (Vivian), Corey (LeAnne), Tracy (Robert), Kristi (Randy), James (Jennifer), Nicole, Curtis, Chad, Tara Lee, Melissa, Melanie, Robyn, Shannon, Matthew, Kevin, Adrianne, Emily and Patricia; three great-grandchildren: Rylan, Samuel and Joshua; special friend: Fabian Sutton, Edmonton, AB; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, September 9 at 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Immaculate Conception Project Restoration Fund.
