Obituary of Ruth Taylor

TAYLOR, Ruth - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, September 10, 2003, Ruth Taylor of Carbonear, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: James W., 1990. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Ruth (John) Davidge, Carbonear; one granddaughter: Catherine Ruth, Carbonear; three sisters-in-law: Ann Bourne, St. John's, Helen Guzzwell, Clarke's Beach and Winnifred Taylor, Corner Brook; two nephews: David Guzzwell, St. John's and Bert (Marguerite) Taylor, Corner Brook; one niece: Joan (Jim) Young, Ohio, USA; also a number of other nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR on Thursday, September 11 and Friday, September 12 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment to follow at Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Mission and Service Fund of Bethany United Church or to the Janeway Children's Hospital.
