PARSONS, Roland - Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2003, Roland Parsons of Victoria, age 74 years. Predeceased by daughter: Peggy; grandson: Christopher; parents: Harry and Louise; brother: George. Leaving to mourn: wife: Florence; three sons: Donald (Annette), Halifax, NS, Roland (Jean), Carbonear and Brian (Brenda), Mount Pearl; six grandchildren: Donna, Darren, Aaron, Rebbecca, Jessica and Aimee; five great-grandchildren: Claudia, Samantha, Ashley, Mitchell and Megan; two brothers: Lloyd (Mary), Pembroke, ON and Wallace (Marina), Halifax, NS; three sisters: Sylvia (Wally) Pynn, Paradise, Jean Frampton, Victoria and Darlene (Peter) Noseworthy, Seal Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 11. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Lung Association.
