DORAN, Barbara A. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 26, 2003, Barbara A. Doran of Carbonear, age 48 years. Predeceased by mother-in-law: Joan Doran. Leaving to mourn, husband: Brian; two sons: David and Christopher, both of Carbonear; parents: Ambrose G. and Phyllis E. Janes, Carbonear; grandmother: Drucella Janes, Carbonear; two brothers: Clarence (Ellen) Janes and Jeff (Lila) Janes, both of Carbonear; parents-in-law: William and Louise Doran, Harbour Grace; brother-in-law: Kevin Doran, Alberta; sisters-in-law: Ann Doran White, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Mary Doran (Ed Slade), Carbonear, Kathy Doran, Alberta and Margaret (Tony) Pye, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, December 28. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Cremation to take place. Inurnment to follow on Monday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Chemotherapy Unit, Carbonear General Hospital c/o the TCP Health Foundation or the Children's Wish Foundation.
