BUTT, Theresa M. Slade - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, February 20, 2004, Theresa M. Slade Butt of Carbonear, age 94 years. Predeceased by 1st husband: Constable John Slade; 2nd husband: Alexander Butt; daughter: Doris Marie Slade; sons: Clifford and Donald Slade; daughter-in-law: Maureen; grandsons: Howie, Billy and Donny; great-grandson: MacKenzie; brother: Eben Slade and sister: Alfreda. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Claudia Ruth (Kevin) Monks, St. John's and Rosa (Reinhart) Sett, Fergus, ON; one son: John (Gladys), Victoria; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Dorothy Slade, ON; son-in-law: Howard Slade, Salmon Cove; special friend: Daphne Colbourne, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, February 22. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Cemetery Fund, Carbonear.
